In our new house, we decided to mount our TV above the
fireplace because our two couches took up most of the other wall space in the
room. So our old media stands got repurposed
in the upstairs family room and I was on the hook for a tall narrow media
shelf. We like the rustic with a touch
of industrial look so I designed and built the stand you see here with black
pipe and low cost pine. I tried to match
the color of these wooden crate end tables.
The pipe fittings provide the support for the front support
of each shelf.
